Born in Bilbao in 1974, he has lived in New York City and London. He studied International Marketing. He has 27 years of experience as an art installer, specialising in heavy works and complex projects. He spent 5 years at the Guggenheim Museum, 4 years at the Royal Academy in London, 4 years working for Dietl International in New York, and 13 years collaborating with Anish Kapoor — the last 7 of which were dedicated full-time to the fabrication of artworks in the artist’s London studio.
Running parallel to this career is a sustained artistic vision and curiosity that crystallised in 2025 under the name Cindy Crawford. Here, he brings together everything learned under Kapoor’s mentorship and through his work as a mercenary of art, channelled into a deeply personal artistic language that pulses with raw, autonomous force. A voice that moves from the backstage of the art world toward something both profoundly internal and elevated. A philosopher–craftsman shaped by frontline experience alongside some of the most significant figures in contemporary art, forging a singular character in the process. An enlightened stowaway who waited to emerge until fully prepared.
Mystery is his field of action. The enigmatic dimension is a key component of his understanding of art. The vibration produced by what resists description is the energy he relentlessly pursues.
