Alex Gambín (Alicante, 1996) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts San Carlos at the Universitat Politècnica de València, where he also completed a Master’s degree in Artistic Production.
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including eSpam at EspaiColector, Valencia (2019); Remembranza at La Causa Galería, Madrid (2020); Deprisa deprisa at Tuesday to Friday, Valencia (2022); and Beauties and Beasts at VETA Galería, Madrid (2024), among others.
His solo exhibitions include Videncias y Evidencias at Centre d’Art Urbà B-Murals, Barcelona (2019); Terreno en obrasat Montana Gallery, Barcelona (2021); and El devenir de las estructuras, presented at Tuesday to Friday gallery during Abierto Valencia 2020, where he received the MAKMA Acquisition Award. He subsequently participated in Abierto Valencia 2021 with the same gallery, presenting the solo exhibition Mapa de Traslado.
In 2019, he was selected for the Tuenti Urban Art Project. In 2020, he was awarded the Pedro Marco Residency Grant by the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Universitat Politècnica de València. In 2022, he participated in the Urban Art Fair in Paris with PDP Gallery. In 2023, he presented his exhibition project Exposición dérmica at Mostra TEST, held at Convent d’Art in Vila-real.
He has been selected for various competitions and exhibitions, including the La Rioja Young Art Exhibition (2024) and the University of Murcia Painting Competition (2024). In August 2024, he won first prize at the Juan Francés National Painting Competition in Xàtiva. ¿Será amputado por el estallido de un proyectil? was a project presented at MUVIM, Valencia (2024).
In January 2025, he presented his most recent solo exhibition at the time, Domingo de escopeta, at STAIN Project in Palma de Mallorca. That same year, he participated with the gallery in the art fairs UVNT (Madrid), Estampa (Madrid), and Art-o-Rama (Marseille).
His most recent project, Obituario, despedida a don Avión, was presented in June 2026 at Fundación Paloalto, Barcelona.
His work in the urban environment has led him to participate in numerous projects throughout Spain, including in Salamanca, Seville, La Rioja, Barcelona, and Málaga, as well as in several interventions in countries such as Italy and France.
