Ulyss3s emerged circa 2020 as a continuation and transformation of that trajectory — from the visceral energy of underground performance to the silent precision of algorithmic creation. Operating at the intersection of generative AI, video art, sculpture, and immersive installation, Ulyss3s questions authorship, challenges the boundaries of creative agency, and navigates the space between the archive and the hallucination.
A project fostered within SOLO, it contributed to the conceptualization of Botto (2021), the decentralized autonomous AI artist exhibited at Sotheby’s, Art Basel, and SONAR+D.
Among its earliest works, the Kaiju series (#1, #2, #3), a collaboration with 6 Forest, stands as a pioneering exploration of AI-generated design translated into physical sculpture (2020) — one of the first projects to bridge artificial intelligence and sculptural practice. The pieces are now held in a private collection.
Ulyss3s’ debut graphic work, the triptych Persistencia de la Narración (2023), was shortlisted for the Lumen Prize 2023 in the Still Image category and minted as an NFT on SuperRare via Onkaos Gallery.
In 2025, the video series Is This Dancing? was exhibited in Retrato Apócrifo at SOLO Independencia, followed by Dada On Hold, a 14-minute video artwork created with music by Elation Buzz and presented at Conde Duque, Madrid. Most recently, the three-screen installation Backrooms was created for the Gottfried Helnwein exhibition at SOLO Independencia.
Ulyss3s continues to expand its interdisciplinary practice through collaborations with artists including Ana Barriga and photographer Rocío Aguirre.
